Rev. Supo Ayokunle, the president of the Nigerian Baptist
Convention (NBC), has emerged the new president of the Christian
Association of Nigeria (CAN).
Rev. Ayokunle defeated Elder Joseph Otubu in the just concluded
Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) election as announced by the
out-going president, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor.
Ayokunle defeated Elder Otubu of the Motailatu Church Cherubim and Seraphim Movement (MCCSW) with 54 votes to 28.
Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, announced the result at 2:30pm to a rousing applause at the Ecumenical Centre, Abuja.
