Oh dear! Mariah Carey stumbled in platform heels at the NBC Upfronts in New York on Monday
Popular American singer, record producer and actress, Mariah Carey, had an embarrassing moment yesterday after stumbling on the red carpet in very high platform heels where she lost her shoe after tripping up in her Louboutins at the NBC Upfronts in New York City, where she is promoting her upcoming reality show.
The 46-year-old singer, who looked on the brink of a mini diva meltdown because of the incident, quickly grabbed onto her security guard and managed to regain her balance.
While she thankfully regained her balance before falling on the blue carpet, Mariah did manage to lose one of her sky-high heels as she walked.
The towering, black peep-toe heel came off as the songstress sauntered down the carpet en route to the Upfronts. And the hitmaker looked less than thrilled to have made such an impression as she arrived on Monday.
She could be seen raising her head to the sky, seemingly taking a deep breath to regain her composure before she continued on, as she adjusted her shoe.
That's better! The singer showed off a big smile as she strolled down the carpet after she had her shoe back on.
However, despite the small mishap, Mariah looked stunning, as usual, with the long-sleeved, mini dress highlighting her famous curves.
