Former beauty queen, Dabota Lawson seems to have moved past her marriage troubles. The Nollywood actress surprised her fans this morning by celebrating her billionaire husband, Sunny Aku‘s birthday.
The screen star-turned beauty entrepreneur who was reported to have previously filed for divorce, seems as though she is keen to work things out with her hubby.
"KING WAS BORN TODAY!!!! 👑🐘🌕🎂 I celebrate you honey for all that you are and have been to me. May God almighty bless you now and forever … #birthdayBoy #mushyStuffInMyHandWrittenLetter 💋💋💋💋," she wrote on her Instagram.
In an interview one year ago, she was asked if meeting her husband was love at first sight, she said, "I really don’t want to go into details but oh my God, my husband is the most persistent man on earth. The first time we spoke, we talked for hours. It felt like we had known each other for years. We immediately built a strong friendship that turned into true love. That’s all I can say."
When asked what marriage has taught her, Dabota said, "I have become closer to God since I got married. My husband teaches me a lot and has helped me improve my prayer life."
